We were looking for a holiday with a difference and in ‘Secret Transylvania’ we found it. Jez and Di were amazing hosts. Lot’s of variety with the trips, the walks and the food. We enjoyed the company of all the other guests and inhabitants of Secret Transylvania too, especially Derek the dog! P.S good luck with the pool X
We have had such a varied and interesting holiday in beautiful Transylvania. Our hosts Di and Jez, are trulyexceptional in the care and attention they offer their guests and of course the food is outstanding. Thank you for giving us such a great time!

Transylvania is an idyllic location with fantastic walking and great photography opportunities. ASTRA open air museum is a definite ‘must see’. Other highlights include looking down on the vallies from Rosengarten, touring the fortified churches and looking down on Cisnadioara village from the orchard. Big thank you to our hosts Derek and Dolly and their pet humans Di and Jez. It has been like visiting old friends! Don’t expect to lose weight here, Di’s fabulous cooking will keep you wanting seconds and thirds.

Secret Transylvania is an English oasis in a beautiful part of Transylvania.

A holiday that will live in our memory for a long time.
Recalling the lovely villages and a way of life that was lost to rural England a long time ago.
The beautiful scenery leaves you breathless, by 4x4 or walking.
Our hosts Di and Jez completed a great time with their fantastic hospitality.

We’ve had a stupendous stay! We fell in love with Transylvania last year and this visit has been even better largely due to Di and Jez’s amazing care and hospitality. Including driving us up a mountain on a closed road (passing rock-falls!) so that we could get to the snowline. We’ll be back.

Transylvania – a time capsule delivering perfection in rustic romantic antiquity. Casa Verde, Cisnadioara is the perfect location to enjoy real Romanian charm with outstanding scenery and hospitality. My hosts were great company and delivered the most excellent food and drink. Beware the Tucia, this spirit is for none but the brave! Can’t wait to come back.

Our stay in Cisnadioara with Di and Jez takes me back to holidays in South Wales 50 years ago. The food, walking, sightseeing and prices are excellent!

My father and I have had a truly WONDERFUL time. We have been looked after so well. Di and Jez are so friendly and helpful and the food and accommodation are lovely. We couldn’t have asked for better. The whole experience has been excellent for my father especially, returning after 65 years. We will both take back such happy memories.
